At B.K.Display, we understand and appreciate the importance of the privacy of our web site visitors and we are committed to protecting their privacy. The following statement is for guidance only and does not effect the terms and conditions of sale policy.
The information you provide us:
When you send us an e-mail or order a product or products via our web site that information is stored by us. This may include name, address, credit card or debit card details and contact details. This information is used only for the purpose of providing the best service possible and is used only by ourselves.

We do not disclose to anyone any of this information that we hold about you.
We ask for your telephone number in order to contact you in the event of an emergency situation with your order. We would normally contact you by e-mail, fax or letter.

Occasionally we will also use the information to send you offers which are relevant to you. Sensitive information:
Our web site uses secure methods to protect any information you provide from unauthorised use. Regrettably, whilst we do our best to protect all the information we hold, no internet security system can guarantee absolute security 100% of the time. This means that any information that you enter is done so at your own risk.

Stationery Terms of Sale

1a. B.K.Display is the trading name of B. K. Display. Goods means the articles or things which are described in the contract between B.K.Display and the purchaser.
1 b. These conditions shall be deemed to be incorporated in all contracts of B.K.Display to sell goods and in the case of any inconsistency with any order or form of contract sent by the purchaser to B.K.Display whatever may be their respective dates the provision of these conditions shall prevail unless expressly varied in writing by a partner on behalf of B.K.Display.
1c. Notwithstanding that B.K.Display may have given a detailed quotation no order shall be binding on B.K.Display unless and until it has been accepted in writing by B.K.Display.
1d. Any times or dates given for completion or delivery of goods shall be binding on B.K.Display, insofar as B.K.Display undertakes to carry out additional work for the purchaser to the value of the print element of any goods not supplied on time. Such liability shall not extend to delays beyond the control of B.K.Display including, without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing defects in files or omissions of information delays in approval of proofs and non-performance of carriers.
1e. By their nature goods do not have a redeemable value and no refunds or credits for goods correctly supplied will be entertained.

  • a) All goods shall be paid for at the time of the order.
  • b) No goods shall be dispatched or collection allowed until paid for in full.
  • c) All prices are exclusive of Value Added Tax and this will be charged at the appropriate rate.
1f.
  • a) Any shortcomings or defects in goods supplied must be notified to B.K.Display within 3 days of delivery. Such goods must be returned to B.K.Display for inspection.
  • b) Nothing herein shall impose any liability upon B.K.Display in respect of any defect in goods arising out of the acts, omissions, negligence or default of the Purchaser, its servants or agents including without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing handling and storage of the goods.
  • c) Nothing herein shall have the effect of excluding or restricting the liability of B.K.Display:
  • i) For the death or personal injury resulting from its negligence insofar as the same is prohibited by U.K.statute, or;
  • ii) Under sections 12, 13, 14 and 15 of the Sale Of Goods Act1979 to a purchaser who is dealing with the customer (as defined by section 12 of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977)
1g. B.K.Display shall not be liable for any costs, claims or damage arising out of any act of tort or omission or breach of contract or statutory duty calculated by reference to profits, income production or accruals or loss of such profits, income production or accruals or by reference to accrual of such, claim, damages or expenses on a time basis.
1h. The liability of B.K.Display to the purchaser for any loss or damage of whatsoever nature and howsoever caused shall be limited to and in no circumstances exceed the price of the goods.
1j. The purchaser shall be in breach of any of their obligations under the contract B.K.Display may (without prejudice to B.K.Display’s rights subsequently to determine the contract for the same cause should it so decide) suspend further deliveries of goods without notice until any defaults by the purchaser are remedied.
1k. No statement, description, information, warranty or recommendation contained in any catalogue, price list, advertisement or communication or made verbally by any of the agents or employees of B.K.Display shall be construed to enlarge, vary or override in any way these conditions.
1L. Any concessions made or latitude allowed by B.K.Display to the purchaser shall not affect the strict rights of B.K.Display under the contract. If in any particular case any of these conditions shall be held to be invalid or shall not apply to the contract the other conditions shall continue in full force and effect.
1m. The contract shall in all respects be governed by English law and the purchaser and B.K.Display agree to submit to nonexclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
1n. No variation to these conditions shall be binding unless agreed in writing between the authorised representatives of the Customer and B.K.Display.

Exhibition Systems Terms of Sale

PRICES:

  • 1. We reserve the right to apply prices ruling at the time of despatch. Customers will have the option to cancel any orders upon which we have to apply such cost increases.
  • 2. Orders will be accepted and despatched upon the terms shown on our price lists or written quotations. Deviations will only be permitted if confirmed by us in writing.
PAYMENT TERMS:
  • 1. Payment in full with order is required unless credit terms have been arranged with us. Credit account terms are nett monthly. Payable by the end of month following month of invoice.
OVERDUE INVOICES:
  • 1. Interest may be charged on overdue accounts at the rate of 2.5% per month. Costs incurred in collection of overdue accounts will be recovered from the customer.
DELIVERIES:
  • 1. Every endeavour will be made to adhere to the estimated time of delivery given upon our acknowledgement of order but failing to do so does not constitute a breach of contract.
  • 2. Express forms of transport arranged at the request of the customer will be invoiced at cost.
CLAIMS:
  • 1. It is a condition laid down by the carrier that all claims must be notified in writing within three days of receipt of goods, or, in the case of non-delivery, within fourteen days after the date of despatch. After this period, no claim can be accepted.
SPECIAL PRODUCTS:
  • 1. When orders are placed for products or packs not shown on our price lists, we reserve the right to amend the quantity at time of delivery by +/- 10%.
ADVICE:
  • 1. Any advice or information which we may offer to customers or prospective customers is given to the best of our ability, having regard to the relevant factors known to us, but is given expressly without any liability on our part.
SUITABILITY:
  • 1. It is the exclusive responsibility of the purchaser to satisfy him/herself that the goods are suitable for the purpose for which they are required and any implied condition that the goods are fit for any particular purpose is hereby excluded.
MATERIALS:
  • 1. If the goods are found to be defective in material or workmanship and are so reported to us within 3 months of delivery to the purchaser, we undertake to replace the goods without charge to the purchaser. It is a condition of this undertaking that we are satisfied that the defect existed at the time when the goods left our premises. Our liability is limited to replacement of the goods in exchange for those originally supplied.


TITLE TO GOODS:
The title to goods and ownership thereof, shall not pass to the buyer until full payment has been made (regardless of any right of the buyer to withhold such payment) and until the date of the payment, the buyer shall store the goods in such a way that clearly identifies them as the property of the seller. If the goods by processing or otherwise become a constituent of new objects, separate or otherwise, then the ownership of such new objects shall remain with the seller. Until the date of the payment, the buyer shall store the goods in such a way that clearly identifies them as the property of the seller
The buyer will be responsible for comprehensively insuring the goods or new objects as the case may be. If goods in the original state or as new objects are sold by the buyer or damaged or destroyed whilst in the custody of the buyer prior to full payment to the seller, the proportion of the proceeds of sale or the insurance monies, amounting to not less than the invoice price of such goods shall be paid to the seller forthwith by the buyer. The buyer shall give the seller the right of entry into his premises to repossess the goods or new objects to the full value of the invoice price of such goods.
INFRINGEMENTS OF PATENTS, REGISTERED DESIGNS OR COPYRIGHT:

The buyer shall indemnify the seller against all damages, costs and expenses to which the seller may become liable as a result of work done in accordance with the buyer’s specification which involves infringement or alleged infringement of a patent, registered design or copyright.
THE ABOVE TERMS AND CONDITIONS WILL BE GOVERNED BY ENGLISH AND WELSH LAW AND ENFORCEABLE BY ENGLISH AND WELSH COURTS.
